Obama awards arts medals to Mel Brooks, Audra McDonald, Berry Gordy

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama awarded 24 American giants of the arts and humanities with medals on Thursday, lauding their accomplishments - and sharing some laughs.
